My books are currently (mostly) stored away, and so I enjoyed this article about the Martha Rosler Library project, which I saw a few years ago in Edinburgh. I like the author's words that the project, in part, was about, "reviving the library as a site and source of inspiration, dialogue, dispute and perhaps rebellion".

The image is by Tracy Mackenna and Edwin Janssen: Truth, Error, Opinion (2008), still image projection, 180 x 240 cm, 20 mins

This is the trailer for INVISIBLE. This poetic documentary takes us to the High Arctic where the bodies of Inuit mothers are contaminated with chemicals migrating from our homes in the south. Directed by Roz Mortimer.

Christopher Master's obituary is a great tribute to artist Cy Twombly. He was called Cy after a baseball player "Cyclone" Young: fitting for the intensity of his calligraphic style.

Seeking submissions, the journal Public Art Dialogue ask for the usual articles, essays and reviews, but also 'conversational dialogues' and 'artists' projects' for inclusion.

I like the sound of this: "In the spirit of fostering, documenting, and sharing the content of the diverse dialogues that take place in our field we encourage submissions in the form of conversations, rather than standard interviews. In particular, we seek contributions in which the participants represent different professions, experiences, backgrounds, and perhaps even agendas."

For this year's Venice Biennale, Simona Lodi and Les Liens Invisibles have created a new kind of pavilion. Digital. Uninvited. Sounds just what the biennale needs:

'The Invisible Pavilion is an uninvited, experimental, hallucinatory augmented reality experience that will function for the duration of the Venice Art Biennale as a squatted stage on which a performative flow of digital-based works of art will fill the whole area of the Giardini.'

Elizabeth Felicella's photographs accompany Donald Judd's (1989) essay about his New York home and work space.

"I thought the building should be repaired and basically not changed. It is a 19th century building. It was pretty certain that each floor had been open, since there were no signs of original walls, which determined that each floor should have one purpose: sleeping, eating, working."
